Express ways

There are universal ways to solve problems with router settings.

Restarting the device with a button

  1. Restarting the device. It is done by simply turning the device on and off. The power button is usually on the back of the router. Or pulling the power adapter plug for a minute if there is no power button on the device or if it is broken.
  2. You can try accessing the router’s admin panel through a different browser. It is not uncommon when the browser can be configured in a special way and not pass some addresses that the user goes to.
  3. If I can not log into the router interface from my PC, I try to log in from another device. For example, from a phone or laptop, if they were connected to the network. Or by physically connecting the router’s Ethernet cable to a laptop or another computer.
  4. The router’s interface may trivially hang when accessing itself. There may be many reasons for this, from the firmware of the device, to the authorization at the time of receiving connection data from the ISP.
