It went on like this until April 2018. And then it was time to shout "Hurrah!". The fact is that the first cast of Hi-Fi band (Oksana Oleshko, Timofei Pronkin and Mitya Fomin) performed at Olimpiyskiy. The fans were intrigued by the fact that the band will return to the stage in its golden lineup.

Hi-Fi

Hi-Fi is a Russian pop band from the 90s. One of the few who managed to gather the old line-up on one stage after many years and keep their unique style of performance. Today the band continues to delight its admirers with new concerts and performances.

In 1998, Pavel Yesenin and Eric Chanturia became the founders of a new musical project. The exact date of its creation is August 2, 1998. On this day they started working on the first video clip "Not Given".

Mitya Fomin, Timofey Pronkin and Oksana Oleshko became the band members. Initially, one of its founders, composer and arranger Esenin, applied for the role of the soloist. However, he abandoned the idea, not wanting to change the main activity for frequent touring with an irregular schedule.

The history of the creation of the group began in the capital of Siberia long before the official date. Fomin studied in Novosibirsk at the Medical University, and then moved to Moscow to apply for admission to the VGIK. At this time, fate brought him together with Pavel and Eric.

In an interview with StarHit, the performer admitted that getting to know his future colleagues did not inspire confidence. Strangers will not be able to achieve anything in show business, the singer believed.

Oksana Oleshko came to the team also at the invitation of the producers. By profession, she is a ballet dancer. The dancer came to Moscow from sunny Tbilisi, collaborated with such stars as Dmitry Malikov, Oleg Gazmanov, Andrei Gubin.

Later the girl met Chanturia, who offered to join the creative project. Despite the fact that Oksana had never done vocals professionally, she accepted the producer's offer. This project turned out to be an opportunity for her to discover new sides and be creative.

Like the rest of the participants, Timofei Pronkin was not connected with music before joining the group. As a professional dancer, he knew the stage, but he had never sung.

Music

Up until 2003, Hi-Fi released numerous songs that became hits: "All into the Fire" ("The Tsarevna Song"), "Stupid People", "And We Loved" and others. The clips have repeatedly won the charts on Russian music channels. In 1999 the trio was awarded with "Golden Gramophone" for the song "Black Crow". Then the song "The Seventh Petal", which later became the trio's calling card, was premiered.

The original version was in English. The chorus for the Russian version was written by Zemfira. However, the artist refused the fee and the rights of co-writer – according to the official version, she just helped her friend Eric Chanturia, the author of the main text. But there is another version: the performer did not want her name to be associated with this track.

In 2003, Oksana Oleshko announced her decision to leave the scene. It was not only about the band, but also about show business in general. The ex-vocalist gave preference to family life – she married the performer Vladimir Levkin, but the marriage fell apart. The next chosen one of the artist was businessman Anton Petrov. She gave birth to two daughters, but this time there was also a divorce.

Oksana Oleshko, a former member of Hi-Fi group

The producers quickly found a replacement. For two years, the new vocalist was Tatiana Tereshina. But later she left the group to pursue a solo career. After that, the members periodically changed. Among them were Katya Li, Olesya Lipchanskaya, Marina Drozhdina.

As time passed, the creative trio won the Muz-TV Award in the "Most Fashionable Band" category. This is one of the most prestigious awards in the history of the group.

The next to leave the lineup was Mitya Fomin. At that moment, the artist made a confession that surprised not only fans, but also casual listeners:

"I imagined that I would be 60 years old and jumping on stage to someone else's voice. By the way, I always sang over the phonogram with Pavel Yesenin's voice. And when the phonogram stopped, I would finish, I would get out of any unexpected situations."

How did it all begin?

Somewhere in Siberia, far away, there were two friends, Pasha and Eric. They were very smart guys who loved experiments. We don't know which one of them decided to create a music band. Judging by the fact that the producer was Eric Chanturia, the idea was his.

Without thinking long, the comrades came up with an uncomplicated set, wrote songs, and began to reflect on the band. In this respect, the composition of Hi-Fi is unique. Its members met on the set of their first music video.

The memorable event happened in August 1998. 20 years ago, as we can see. At that time the music video for the song "Not Given" was filmed. It was filmed in St. Petersburg. The first lineup lasted longer than the others.

Pioneers .

Let us remember the first group of Hi-Fi. They were Oksana Oleshko, a beautiful model, Mitya Fomin, a native of Novosibirsk, and Timofey Pronkin, who is currently in the band.

The guys, as mentioned above, met on the set of their first music video. It was difficult to adapt to each other, but over time, the difficulties passed. Beautiful Oksana charmed the male fans of the band. Interestingly, it was something new for the girl to participate in the group as a singer. She is a ballerina, danced with the group "Na-Na", Oleg Gazmanov and many other celebrities.

Mitya Fomin is a failed medical doctor. Since childhood, he was fond of singing and dreamed of becoming an artist. But the boy also had another hobby – he loved animals. He told his parents that he would become a veterinarian. In those days, this profession was associated mainly with farm animals. His parents sent Mitya to medical school on the principle: if you want to heal, be a doctor.

The kid did not turn out to be a doctor. He dropped out of high school and began a performing career.

Mitya Fomin

Timofei Pronkin is an outstanding personality. A native Muscovite who worked in a gay strip club. That's where he met his wife. Just don't think that his spouse is a man. No, she's a regular woman. The couple has two children. And Tima is the only one in the Hi-Fi group who still works in it.
