In general, the procedure for installing a wifi router is as follows:
- – disconnect your wired modem;
- – unplug the twisted-pair cable connecting the modem to your computer and plug it into the "Line in" or "Internet" port on your wifi router (thus connecting the router and modem);
- – reconnect the modem's power cord – it will blink when the connection is made;
- – allocate a socket for the router's power supply, connect the router to the mains and turn it on with the appropriate button. When the router establishes a connection to the modem, it will begin to distribute broadcast signals.
