Need some advice. Wi-fi in a laptop
Hello, I bought an HP Pavilion 15-ab101 laptop. While using it, it turned out that wi-fi is very unstable. For example, at the hotel, I was the only one who did not have normal wifi.
The picture captures the moment when I tried to open google.ru. With any network activity the response time increases catastrophically.
On internet, I found several threads about this card (Realtek RTL8723BE), where they blamed the drivers, but still nothing happened. So I bought and decided to install an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 7265NGW.
Opening the laptop showed that the wi-fi antenna in it one, installing a new card, I connected it in turn to each slot
Slot 1 – bluetooth works, wifi does not work (the signal is very weak)
Socket 2 – bluetooth constantly fails, wifi works fine.
The wire from the only antenna goes somewhere in the laptop screen.
I have already ordered a set of wifi antennas, is it possible to leave the second antenna inside the case, bringing it to the edge of the case? Is it possible to run the antenna loop(wire) over the motherboard?

Bottom line, I decided not to take any chances and picked up an i7 3632qm processor. By the way picpoint, burn in hell, three times they postponed delivery date from dns. So the final upgrade was: i3 3110m => i7 3632qm 4gb ram 1333 => 16gb 1600 + dvd => ssd 120gb. In the end, everything worked from half a turn. The only thing is that all those who said that the power supply will not be enough were right, Lenovo lied, a maximum of 32 Watt per processor (looked aida). In the end, the load out of the promised 3.2GHz in turbo took 2.8. The result is also quite satisfied me. In the benchmark (cinebench r23) heated up to 95 degrees, so that cooling can be said that the fit (those who will say that it is a lot, but the stone is hot and the official Intel website maximum operating temperature listed 105 degrees). The interesting thing is that it doesn't trot at this temperature. According to the results cinebench processor performance has increased by 160% (from 1077 to 2812), seems to me for a laptop which is 8 years old result is decent. In terms of performance in everyday tasks is silly to compare as csd is much faster than the hard drive. No pictures of the replacement itself, there are only pics of the monitor with Aida running (I'm a lazy ass). So, if you change the processor on the same laptop do not put processors more than 35W, not enough power to them. When you need some good sound and your mother has an engineer, then there is a desire to save money and get an acceptable result by making an amplifier by yourself out of the available mix of Chinese components.

All that was soldered out from old dismantled industrial equipment before sending it to the scrap yard. So why not give it a second life?
– LJM's MX50SE amplifier termination kit (a proven, popular amplifier);
– Preamplifier board with an Ayima tone block;
The Kompak case was stripped from the plastic to the metal. I sawed the sides from a scrap of laminate. The muzzle and butt were sawed off the excess and protruding parts. The butt was covered with two pieces of galvanized sheet metal with holes drilled in them for connectors. The muzzle is made of what I don't know what to call plastic on the inside, and aluminum foil on the outside. The film on the back side can be easily peeled off with an emery and sanded down to an acceptable form. Holes for grips, buttons and the display were cut out.
Hastily assembled were the boards for the terminators, the protection unit, the power supply, the transformer boards, and the input selector board.

Rename the router to kvartira_XX, where XX is the apartment number of the oldest and meanest babka, a non-existent apartment or an apartment in the next doorway. If the house has an elevator – lift-camera. It's best if there are no cameras in the elevator. Or is there?

Many modern routers support the guest network function. Turn it on, limit speed to 1Mb/sec or lower, password of course, give the password to such neighbors, preferably all, but a big secret. Hide the main network (see "Secret Agent"). Periodically give in to the neighbors, say, the Internet in general is disgusting, to complain about the fact that not enough money for a tariff with higher speed.
"Sophisticated Intriguer."
Combine the Intriguer and the Inquisitor. Rename the working network as suggested in "Intrigant", change the password, and use it. The guest network is called by the same name as the work network, cut the speed and then as in "The Inquisitor".
"Housekeeper."
Some routers support scheduled WiFi on and off. You can connect such a cable to your working router, set WiFi to turn on and off at 2-minute intervals, and "hide" your network (see "Secret Agent"). If you have an old unnecessary router without a schedule function, you can plug it into an outlet through a time relay or a "smart" programmable outlet.
