Fiber optic cable is less susceptible to lightning strikes. It provides high speed Internet over relatively long distances – up to 2 km. However, if broken, it can be more difficult to repair than standard twisted pair.

A dedicated line has a number of undeniable advantages. The list includes:

- Fixed rate without per-second fees.
- Possibility to create your own corporate network.
- High speed internet. When laying fiber-optic it increases markedly. But the need for 1 Gbit / s rate is usually required only for businesses and organizations that transmit and receive a large flow of information via the Internet.
- Security. All traffic is encrypted through VPN gateways. You are reliably protected from viruses and hacker attacks while working on the Web through a dedicated line.
